Shorter inguinal canal: New int.ring(7734 bytes)New canal(11211 bytes)A forceps is passed medial to the inf. ep. art . but lateral to the Lateral Umbilical Ligament. The forceps is passed through the scrotum. A 7mm port is then railroaded into the peritoneal cavity.

 

Subdartose pouch:testis(13139 bytes)

A forceps is then passed through the scrotal port and the testis along with port and forceps is pulled out through the scrotum. It is then anchored in a subdartose pouch.



:Post operaative period: Oral fluids are started 6 hours after surgery . The child is fully mobile the next day.
